ACC Free Resource Available

The Small Business Company Ltd, in conjunction with the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC), has developed two online training modules for small businesses. These modules are intended as a free resource for your organisation to offer your small business and self-employed clients. Both modules are written specifically for these clients.

Small businesses find ACC a minefield – understanding what it is, why they have to pay for it, and how does it really help their business?  These online modules go a long way to helping small businesses comprehend ACC.

The first module, “Getting Started” focuses on giving small business people information on what they need to do (and pay) to comply with ACC. A range of helpful downloads and calculators are also included.

The second module, “Preventing workplace injuries is good business” highlights where small businesses can reduce costs and stress and increase staff motivation and productivity. A customised training report will be produced at the end to allow them to start providing a safe and healthy workplace.
