Nature Coast is the Kapiti-Horowhenua Regional Tourism brand developed by Enterprise Coast to promote and express the area's great lifestyle, climate, environment, attractions, and fresh produce.
The Nature Coast encompasses the unique Districts of the Kapiti Coast and the Horowhenua.
It is approximately 50 minutes north of Wellington and is easily accessed by car, bike or motor home via State Highway 1.
The region can easily be accessed via train or coach, with regular stops at most centres. |

NATURE COAST
Nature Coast is an Economic Development Agency (EDA) and Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) established in May 2004 and charged by Kapiti Coast District Council and Horowhenua District Council to provide economic, business, and tourism development services to both Districts.

Our job is to foster the economic, business and tourism development of the region by:
Developing and marketing the regions domestic and international tourism.
Promoting use of the Nature Coast brand to identify the regions attractions and events.
Operating visitor information centres at Paraparaumu, Otaki, and Levin.
Assisting the growth of business in the region.
Providing information, training, networking events, mentoring and support services to business.
Facilitating business access to other sources of assistance or support, such as government assistance if applicable.
Undertaking regional economic development projects.
Whether a business needs information, advice, help, or simply opportunities to network with other businesses, Enterprise Coast is the place to start.
